    ... fine to us.

Very warm and cozy place. We had a good meal and a wonderful beer, Landskrom, brewed locally. Maybe one of the best beers we've had yet on this trip. It's so hard to tell, as there are so many good beers here.

Back in our room, we enjoyed seeing the lights of the town from our windows. We snuggled in for the night.

Tomorrow: Catching a bit more of Görlitz and on to Rothenburg Ober de Tauber.

Well despite being an awfully hot night the cool shower worked and felt like I slept reasonably OK, although I woke at one point when a rain/storm started. Oh thank goodness for that cooler air blowing into the room. David had a rotten night though with dream after dream. He is prone to dreaming excessively, so much so that it really drives him nuts and is an issue for him. Can't believe some of the stuff he was up to during the night! LOL.

We stayed at a lovely boutique hotel "Der Romantik Tuckmacher", wandered through the city and ..... cemetaries trying to find any lead to no avail.

    Only update were I'm now.
Cut my day a bit short yesterday, because of bad weather. Stopped just short of Goerliz.
120 km, through wet and slippery bikeways, crossing the "Saxon Schweiz", very challenging!
It is 6am now, will have breakfast, the weather looks good, will leave towards Wroclaw Poland, was formerly under German rule called "Breslau ...

... and even some mausoleums. There was a plaque set into the rock wall telling of the history of the making of the path – it was astonishing to think it was started in 1512 and hewn by hand: the chisel marks were all still visible.

Half way round, a fine rain started falling so we sheltered under an overhanging rock, feeling very sorry for the wedding party who would be getting extremely wet given ...
