Mo and Do have arrived in Dubai. High Tea in the Burj Khalifa on the 122nd floor. Tour of the City by coach and souks (markets) Visited Dubai Mall and Emirates Mall, both huge shopping areas.

The plan was to settle in then head for the Dubai Ferry that would take us from the nearby Al Ghubaiba out in to the Gulf then down to the Dubai Marina about 6 miles away. The journey takes 90 minutes and costs about £7. However the next sailing was at 11am so we would be struggling to make this in time and, due to the weather, wouldn’t be very pleasant. ... we caught the hotel river taxi to our destination.
Arrival at the hotel was welcome, we got a good room over looking the Chao Parayah River on the 32nd floor. Had a sleep for an hour and then went out to investigate our situation.
Just had a lovely meal at the Chatrium and as a bonus a live band, absolutely brilliant, just kept us away long enough.
