... for a couple of hours, we had a picnic lunch on a bench in Place Jaques Cartier which is a three block open stretch up the slope to the massive old City Hall, lined with bars and restaurants and populated with booths for quickie artists and characaturists, and some pretty darned good buskers.

We then prepared for our Farewell to the West Coast dinner which Anderson, our bus driver and Ron attended. We had a great evening of fun and laughing. It is hard to believe that I have only known these people for a week!!!!
Early start this morning 5am....... no one gets up that early on holidays, except those catching a 5 hour flight to Vancouver

I’m very curious to see the fusion of both Sicilian and Palestinian culture on this island which could be very enchanting…or very chaotic!
