... Afterwards Cammi and I went to the Basilica of Notre Dame (church of our lady- Montreal is a big fan of Virgin Mary.) The outside of the basilica is nice, but inside is amazingly beautiful. We then went to Montreal's tallest building for some iceskating, then shared poutine. Later we caught the bus up to the top of Mount Royal to enjoy the city lights from up high, and get sprinkler with some icy snow. ... for four centuries beginning in 1705. Across the street we watched the filming of X-Men: Days of Future Past outside the City Hall. We saw The Beast with a blue painted face played by Nicholas Hoult. We heard action and extras dressed in muted clothing ran past three old cars in the street. There were guards around trying to keep people moving away from the filming and instructing photos were not allowed.
