Good hotel to stay in for a night. Room was small but clean. Didn't get to explore the local area so not sure how good the location is. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was the best part for me - lots of choice and all very tasty.

Ok accommodations but not very clean.. We didn't sleep comfortably. Wifi never really worked. Not worth $50 a night!

On day two in Bangkok we visited the Wat Phra Kaew, (Grand Palace with the Emerald Buddha), What Phra Chetuphon (Massive reclining Buddha) and Wat Arun. We actually were allowed to climb up these seriously steep steps to the upper part of Wat Arun which was really scary but we enjoyed the view of the lively traffic on the Mekong and the sprawling …

Great first nights sleep and feeling great - no jet lag for now! Commandeered some fellow Brits to have breakfast with - they'd just finished a G Adventures tour (Indochina + Burma) and loved it which was just what i wanted to hear to settle any tiny butterflies! Quick change to a new room ready for the arrival of my room mate, then debated touring …

All very civilised - good transfer in Dubai and very comfortable flight to Bangkok with minimal screaming babies! Only minor head scratching moment when I'd failed to find out beforehand if I needed to get a visa on arrival for Thailand (was far too preoccupied with applying for a Vietnamese visa!), luckily it turns out not and it was an …

Well, a late night drinking, packing and panicking, followed by being up before dawn for the flight, is not the best way to bid farewell to Little England. Certainly, when your breakfast didn't sit all that well, the last thing you desire is curry from your Indian airline.. Landed in Mumbai airport 9 hours later wanting to strangle the child who'd …
