... the kids go with cousins Remo, Daniella, Annamaria and Pierro to Boooolingg (bowling).
we enjoy a quiet evening with Sarina and Stefano eating leisurely and enjoying the cool evening air, We have given Alliza a key to get in the house and she is dropped off in the early hours of the morning. Funny how you still listen out for them even at this age and even when they aren't your children. It's that Italian blood in me! It was a great day. Buena Notte.

Fagnano has an amphitheater in the middle of town behind the Main Street ...who would have thought! It's a great set up and the theatre fills up with eager fans all wanting to enjoy some comedy. It's excellent.

... and we all comment on how lovely it would be to sleep up here. We see a black squirrel (didn't know that squirrels could be black!). We sit for lunch and see that there is Lepre on the menu so I ask the waitress what it is. She says it's a wild animal that lives on the mountain similar to a rabbit. Gabriel asks if he can order it but she says that they need notice for this dish (obviously it's to catch, kill and prepare ...

... was ok or either the daughter or grand daughter returned Maria would be there for our visit. Maria (Michaels cousin) phones us at tells us that the grandmother died on her watch and that they have to accompany the body back to Fagnano where they will hold the funeral tomorrow. The hospital will not hold the body they must take her home.
So we decide to visit them another day ...
