... few of the sites.We did catch the changing of the Guard at ten, though. Outside we found a pleasant modern French style coffee shop and had iced coffee and pain au raisin. After a walk around the walls to the back of the Palace there was a quick visit to the temple of the reclining Buddha. The minibus picked us up and took us to Chinatown and a restaurant. We went there on a fairly overcast day which was probably a blessing as one of the things I hadn't yet mentioned about Thailand was it was hot, very hot. It isn't just hot but crazy humid as well. I am somewhat of a heavy perspirer but out here it's just mad. Anyway, it was a cooler day which meant we could walk without too much of an issue around the huge grounds. (someone asked about where I am staying, I’m staying in the Sawasdee Sunshine, it’s not bad, but it’s definitely not the Ritz, I have a hot shower, a TV, A/C, all the coffee I can drink, my bed is made up each day, I have the use of all the Sawasdee hotels in Pattaya (that’s why I moved here) those that have pools, roof top gardens I can use em all, no extra charge (and it’s nice to try all their free coffee shops)

Like the carp ponds we had already experienced in Bangkok, the sea turtles clamored over each other for first dibs, fins flapping out of the water.
