... to line it. The new Interstate roads often rip the heart out of certain communities, and many don't survive it.

Light was fading fast and we still had several miles to go to Oklahoma City, so we got onto the I-40 (see how easy it is to ignore Route 66 when you're in a hurry?!) and floored it to OKC, missing a couple of sights that we would have to return to tomorrow. We got there at twilight and managed to drive almost halfway round it ...

... parts Nana time. Grandpa and I got to jet around on his Harley and we even went on a really long ride with a bunch of other people on other Harleys. But Nana and I did much more girly things like get our nails done and go shopping at the mall.
