Last day!
... little while as there was thunder and lighting and sheeting rain again. Managed to return to hotel a little wet and splashed.
Spent the afternoon playing games with D & B and then went to pack. We were going to go for a walk but decided not to chance it.

Portugal, last summer holiday!
... hotel – doh! After a long wait we finally got out of Faro and drove to Sagres our first stop of our 4 day holiday. The drive was outstanding! The roads were smooth, the views breath taking and the journey only 2 short hours – sun the whole way too definitely put smiles on our faces!
Sagres – the end of the world accordingly to the Portuguese before they knew America existed and you can see why! ...
30 agosto Faro-Porto
... degli anni '60, la seconda č sentendo nell' aria una musica scopriamo che si tratta di due suonatori ambulanti che suonano “My Way”, la famosa canzone immortalata da Frank Sinatra e che io canto per gli amici quando ci ritroviamo in un piano bar! Inutile dire che mi unisco a loro! Torniamo in albergo e ci dirigiamo all' aeroporto che dista pochi chilometri.

... sul lungomare e nei giardini, seduti fuori un caffč a guardare le barche i gabbiani e la gente in in giro.
Torniamo a Faro. Ci aspetta il ristorante O Castelo! Questa volta cena a base di straordinari
gamberoni! Tornati in albergo ci godiamo le ultime vedute notturne di Faro, una cittą che ci resterą impressa nella memoria.

29 agosto-Farol (Algarve)
... osservato in tutta l'estensione dell'isola. Facciamo una passeggiata per le strade di questa comunitą, piccola ma accogliente. Arriviamo al faro, per ammirare una vasta spiaggia di sabbia bianca e fine bagnata da acque calme e ma un poco fredde.
Ci fermiamo in un bar sulla costa. Ci sembra di stare in Brasile per la musica e il colore della gente che serve ai tavoli e parla portoghese. Bella gente.
