... building, and we also liked the CCBB which is a cultural centre in an beautiful old bank, all coloured glass and gleaming brass. It houses exhibitions and also has a cinema and theatre, but it seemed to be between shows when we were there.

... wanted to head back to the hostel. As it was Rob's birthday we decided after a little rest to celebrate with the best pizza in São Paulo. It was just down the road, and it was pretty fancy, but still so cheap! It was delicious, I was stuffed by the end, and after having a few glasses of wine we were ready to head back and retrieve our free caipirinhas! TAM flight from Cusco to Sao Paulo. Had a good chat with the guys sitting either side of me.
Put the watch forward two hours.
A couple of hours to kill at Sao Paulo airport. Eventually got an internet connection in the WiFi area but it was very slow and gave up in the end. Not impressed with the terminal again.
Departed South America at midnight on the TAM flight to London. I wonder when I'll be back next; maybe 2016? ...

... and the bus stopped a couple of times for refreshments and toilet breaks, one stop would have sufficed. We turned up at the huge Tiete bus terminal, which is the second largest terminal in the world!
