... as their brand new stadium is a five minute walk from the hotel. Unfortunately it is so new that it isn't being used yet and the match was at a different stadium. By the time we realised it was late and rainy, so we left it for another time.
We left for the airport by taxi at 1 o'clock. It has been a great trip, and we have been overwhelmed by the friendliness and generosity of the Brazilian people we have met. We're hoping to be back soon.

... as we had about 2 hours time. The flight is scheduled for 12.45PM. Patrick texted me around 11 and then 11.30 and he was still on the train. No signs of the train moving. I assured him that I will wait till the last minute before boarding the plane. Around 12PM I decided to board the plane. I finished my check in and got a text from Patrick that he is on his way.
