... clear when you are in there that it used to be a butcher’s shop. It was on Augusta Avenue which is one of the main party streets in Sao Paulo, and that was definitely evident. Everyone was out in the street drinking, instead of in the bars, which is something I’d never seen before. Some of the bars were completely empty, just loads of tables and chairs, but no people. After our meeting, we went with Rodrigo and Marcia to a traditional Brazilian Steakhouse, Churrascaria Novilho de Prata. We enjoyed a variety of delicious meats, while talking more with them about BCD. It was great to experience some Brazilian culture while in good company. We all left extremely full and happy from the meal and all of the new knowledge! Overall, it was another great day in Sao Paulo!

The smells, the colours, the tastes were all a pleasure on the senses. We treated ourselves to a pastrami sandwich and a beer. We tried a range of cheeses. Oh cheese how we've missed you! The fish counter had the whole life of the ocean for sale - giant octopus, piranhas, catfish, tuna, swordfish, ...

... be used to produce rubbers and plastics. Current trends predict sugarcane production will increase from 600M tons to 1.2B tons by 2020. It appears that Brazil is putting a lot of stock in to ethanol to meet their energy needs. This faith is dependent on the expectation technologies will be available to increase the amount of ethanol generated from 2nd and 3rd generation cellulose byproducts but this will reduce the amount of energy in the cellulose to ...
