It's 6am when the alarm goes off. It takes awhile for Mom to get ready plus she has to fix my breakfast. I'm not leaving any of this food behind. We always shower and pre-pack the night before so it's easier in the morning. We must catch the 9:01am train to Hannover, Germany. It's an express train. We visited another two castles and a nuclear power plant, yep an interesting combination indeed. He then cooked us a delicious traditional German meal - YUMMMO. hand rubbed pasta with a yummy pork and mushroom casserole dish. Big day and hoping they bring us a new car early so we can get to Berlin ...

... he greets us like long lost friends. Argh he yells the Australians are here.... he love Australia has been there many times. We tell him we're heading in to explore Hameln and will be back for dinner.... Sadly we missed the Pied Piper enactment which was on at 12:30 not 4:30 like I thought. Hameln is a gorgeous town/city. We found parking along the river and set off to explore. Its a public holiday ...
