... steep and close to the low-lying cities, if not intermingled with them, you're never too far from a good view.

Heading back to the tram lines to follow them to the onsen at the end, we spotted a steam-engine tram puffing along the tracks. There's clearly some western connection if not just influence here as the terminal station on the tram line was housed within a cosy traditional washboard building, riddled with swallows' nests!

... but we got a nice sunset view. Then it was time for dinner where we also met an English couple. There was also a film crew there who were very interested in us all and asked if they could interview us after dinner. The problem was, they barely spoke English!
