At this point in the trip I decided to leave the group for a couple of days to go to the dusty northern *****ian town of Kano. So after a rather late night I reluctantly checked out of the 5 Star Sheraton Hotel to take on the local transport system for the journey.

In London during the layover, Osa got to spend a few hours with her friend Julia and I got to eat some fish & chips.
