At this point in the trip I decided to leave the group for a couple of days to go to the dusty northern *****ian town of Kano. So after a rather late night I reluctantly checked out of the 5 Star Sheraton Hotel to take on the local transport system for the journey.

... As you can imagine we arrived in Kano as zombies but we made it. It wasn't all bad of course. In London during the layover, Osa got to spend a few hours with her friend Julia and I got to eat some fish & chips.
