          Leaving the capital of Abuja we headed through the mountain town of Jos on route to Yankari National park. This place is known for the crystal clear warm springs.           At this point in the trip I decided to leave the group for a couple of days to go to the dusty northern *****ian town of Kano. So after a rather late night I reluctantly checked out of the 5 Star Sheraton Hotel to take on the local transport system for the journey.

          It only took 5 hours to make it to Kano, most of the delay was due to the Police stop. The poor driver was hassled no end for what appeared to be no reason. I was quite annoyed by the behavior of the ...

          ... is a little different. When we first arrived in Abuja, we went briefly to Mason's home. They offered us a bed to take a nap in when we arrived but we declined being a little wired from just getting out of the airport. We were about to head out on our tour when Mason asked me if I would like to ease myself. I was relaxing on the couch pretty happily and said "No, I feel pretty relaxed." which apparently was funny.
