Our day started about 9am on the road. We crossed over the Indiana border and saw gorgeous farm fields. We also saw another Amish family in their buggy with little kids running around the buggy in large brimmed straw hats. For lunch I thought I had an amazing idea to go into a wildlife refuge center and find a place to picnic. WRONG there was no place to park and I got us a little turned around in this huge place! Then, get this.... We went to the souvenir shop and right next door was a Harley Shop.. How funny. So a good day was had by all.
Then, off back to Nashville, a 3 hour drive today... Graeme does such a good job of driving around the place... It's so difficult to remember you need to stay on the right hand side of the road, particularly when going around corners.

... hostel, which took us along the river and past the enormous LP Field, home to the Tennessee Titans. The hostel was pretty big, and surprisingly nice, and in a fantastic location one block from Broadway; it seems they have somewhat of a monopoly on hostels in the city. Here, we met a few British people, and while George stayed at the hostel, we went exploring the town.

... on that was followed by 9 and 11 % climbs that made the day longer than usual. We ended the day with a happy hour at a small resort where we were entertained by a Lincoln impressionist who gave us his view of Lincoln's. Life. Fun was had by ...
Stopped at Mammoth Cave National Park on our way out of Kentucky. Its the largest cave system in the world and so amazing. Our tour was 2 hours long and only cost us $12 a piece. Some places were so tight you had to squat to get through and others were so wide open it was like being in a cathedral.
