Piatra Neamt was a stop along the way to Sighisoara. Adrei gave us a quick tour which incuded walking through the beautiful square or park with a replica of the Little Mermaid, a gift from Queen Margrethe of Denmark, a statue of Stefan cel Mare, and colorful flower gardens. We walked up to St. John's Church with the bell tower. Andrei pointed out the niches outlined in colored ceramic bricks. The pattern continues in the Ethnographic Museum across the way.

Hi all! For the past three days we were taking it a bit easy. The temperature is rising again which is good. I hope Australia is getting warmer so that we don't get a shock when we come back. After dinner we said bye to uncle and his family. Then we were on our way back to Piatra Neamt (Roxy's home town). It was a great road trip and we enjoyed every bit of it.
