... out next to him while he had some trouble tuning his guitar. I grabbed my tuner and lent it to him so he could get in tune, and then hung out while he strummed the same couple tunes over and over. I couldn't really tell how advanced he was and he wasn't playing anything pleasing so I got my own guitar so we could jam together. When I returned, he was sitting with another guy and a woman. I sat down and noticed one of the tunes he was playing was "Civil War" by Guns N' Roses so I ...

We got there 90 minutes before the game to get a chair - which we moved under the shade of the tree. By game time, the latecomers were standing in the brutal sun. So the night before we packed a bag and headed to bed early as we had to get up at 6 to shower and get ready... 6 turned into 7:30 wake up and involved a quick shower, apply the old (and revolting) bushmans, and then rushed downstairs to wait for our ride. And we waited. And waited. And waited. After an hour we decided that our ride wasn't coming so we legged it to their office (around ...

We ended up having dinner with an American guy called nick who was there by himself as his friends we're doing an overnight amazon tour. He had accidentally purchased a whole bottle of red wine and offered the rest to us, so we invited him to sit with us.

Another lovely day in Brazil :-)

... close. Then quick as anything, one hand grabbed the neck (to prevent it biting) and one the tail. This one was a baby, maybe 60cm? But apparently they can grow up to 3 metres? and I think the black ones can reach 6 metres. They not as scary as I envisioned but maybe a little bit cute even. They have three eyelids. One that protects when swimming and I can't remember about the purpose of the other two. They also have ear flaps to help them do ...
