We were given the most amazing French breakfast of delicious yoghurts, fresh fruit, croissants and chocolate pastries, cake, baguettes and serval home made jams.

... ferry to another part of the city. We then walked around the Jordaan area. Apparently Adele andBrad Pitt own homes here. It is a beautiful area and very quiet. I made a day trip out to Haarlem, another smaller canal town. Less tourists and beautiful homes. I saw the Amsterdam forest, which is man made and only 60 years old! ... pretty well - "non" - but it all seemed pointless when you see everyone with an iPhone taking pictures anyway.
