... interesting about the hands in this painting (pic 4). I think every person has at least one hand that is held the same way. The artist is apparently really into that particular hand gesture. And finally (pic 5) you have a scene which I think is supposed to depict when Mary washed Jesus’ feet. I just thought it was a bit different to have a couple of dogs there chewing on a bone.

... as the train was leaving, not realising that we should have been on the last 3 carriages which did not move, but were hooked on to another loco. Damn!
We got off at the first station and waited to get back to do the exercise again, only an hour later, but this time we knew the system. Who said we're slow learners? This would not have happened in NZ because there would not have been another train on the same day.

... followed with stewed eel with a sauce of St. Bernardus Tripel, asparagus, and cream. The main was locally-sourced roast young lamb in St. Bernardus Prior (dubbel) with white and green asparagus, served with the aforementioned Prior. Dessert was a deconstructed tiramisu.
