short, but steep, 2 mile hike that took us a little ways down into the canyon
and provided some jaw-dropping views (see pictures below). On the climb back
up, a bee stung James right in his achilles, leaving James with a swollen and

... cab...he was worried about human trafficking. He told Jp they had just busted some drug smugglers in a cattle carrier. Apparently as the cattle carrier drove by they noticed that they could see the feet of the cattle...usually they can't. When they inspected the trailer they found that a compartment had been built under the cattle and it was full of drugs! Back around 8pm. Jp and I got chocolate frosties from Wendy's and watched the lightening. So ...

... will be a happy man. It was really great to catch up with everyone today. We smoked a variety of meats on our new Weber smoker including my signature ribs. One time, the guy who worked there operating the chairlifts was in hysterics (as were the rest of the people in our ski lesson) and was laughing so hard he couldn’t turn off the chair lift!
