... as well as our aching muscles complaining about it! It was now time to get to Imabari, a city on our new main island of Shikoku where we could drop the bikes off. On the way down we passed where we tied the dog up and he was gone. Hope he wasn't dognapped! We were exhausted and hungry so imagine our joy when we passed one of the cheap sushi train places. We quickly turned back and had a well earned and delicious load of sushi. Then we carried on and found the bike drop ...
... impossible! For some reason this place has barely any restaurants and any we did see were so expensive. In desperation we split up to check out different streets. Once again while there is plenty of water to surf on in this region the WindGuru ...
Today was one of the weirdest so far... After a less luxurious breakfast than we'd enjoyed in our Okayama hotel, we set off to the bus station to go to Tomonoura. The signs were all in kanji (we have a newfound empathy for people who can't read) but James had been reading about the trip the night before and so was convinced the bus left from Platform 5. About 20 minutes into the journey, James was flicking through the Rough Guide when he noticed that ...
