Another day in the Smoky's, saw us at Cades Cove. This is the flatter wide valley cradled in the mountains where early settlers built homes and Churches and farmed for their living. Tough life back then and here there is still evidence of how it was. A Mum Black Bear and two babies were out and about today plus deer and huge wild turkeys and a somewhat shy, but very close to us, Elk.
