    Off to the airport this morning! We waited at arrivals for Barry & Shaun, and finally they came through! They had had a long old 24-hour journey! We got straight into a pre-booked taxi and headed for Pattaya. We had heard quite a few stories about Pattaya so were a bit apprehensive about going!! As we got close we finally had our first glimpse of the sea and a beach, and the sun was shining, we were very happy!!

    ... film. Instead I had to put up with May trying to hit on me in the most forward way I have ever experienced. She didn't touch me but by the time I got off the bus I felt like I needed a shower.

    There were some surreal moments on the ride too. At one point we were driving through Bangkok and we were three feet deep in flood water on main highways. I was in the luxury of this amazing bus (on the top deck too) while there were Thai's outside driving motorbikes ...

    ... eggs from a street stall that were so yummo! Leigh wouldn't try -wuss. We wandered around for ages, ate some more, Leigh had pork ribs, then we sat at the beach A massive rat ran past us on the steps so I sat down by the water. Leigh taunted me saying the rat would come get me there. We just chilled for a bit watching the used condoms wash against the sand. Aaah we're going to miss you Pattaya! Plan to catch a bus back to Bangkok tomorrow and see some more sights there.
