We head back and cool off in the pool, and the party starts when Vera, Sue and Steve arrive (Wayne and Nok are still at work). That night we went to one of the "must do's" of Pattaya; Tiffany's lady boy cabaret show. I have to say that it wasn't as impressive as we'd hoped and to be honest was a little disappointing. The pretence soon became less believable however, as when they started to mime and dance to music, it was obvious ...

... unto a visit of one week. You see the Jontiem/Pattaya area is too nice to leave. I decided to stay away from the cold places remaining in my itinerary, such as Xian & Guilin, in favor of the warmer weather of Jontiem. The guys were great hosts and I got to sample the life of a retired “farang” in Pattaya. Quite interesting! A day at the beach here. Shopping the next! Run errands. Eat out! A little sightseeing on my account. All very enjoyable!
