... it was just flat beautiful river, then every now and then there would be a small section of rapids and our guide would be calling out "Left! Right! Everyone!" After the third rapid, there was a whistle from the other boat, so we waited for them to catch up, then realized there was someone missing! Rachel was lying in the bottom of the raft, clutching her leg and crying! We didn't know exactly what had happened, but got the gist that she'd been stabbed in the leg by a passing branch! So ...

... who lives in Germany and does the English translations and bookings for Nana. Before heading to the ferry, we go into town in search of the Mephisto store, so Brendan can buy some waterproofing spray for her shoes. Done, we head to the ticket window for the Jadrolinja ferry to Brac, and the town of Supetar. Get tickets for the 12:30 ride, but is our usual, we have a long walk to the last and furthest dock. This ferry is so much better than the Blue Line ...

... bit of walking required for me - but even walking uphill takes it out of you and temperatures are 25 -30 and bright sunshine. Most riders are smiliar situation though some carried it with relative ease.

Sweat streaming and water guzzling.

There is a faint aroma of lavendar and pine as we ventured down - but I spent alot of time studying the tarmac so may not have noticed everything.
