In the longest day's ride so far of 245 miles, we decisively crossed the Ebro at Mora repelling the Falange and fascist forces and atoning for the Republic's last failure in their late '38 offensive.  Left Girona on the superb A7 autoroute for 140 miles to south of Tarragonna then rose up onto the high Aragon plains on great, smooth fast-cornered roads. ... and then ascertained it was okay to do a drive by and drop off bags. Not that that was a simple feat. Pictures of typical road widths to come in a later blog. We also arrived early enough to climb to the top of the hill and wander the ruins of the castle. For all you fit people this may seem minor but for some a climb of about 120-130 meters ( direct vertical) is a regular days activity. I am however finding it slowly easier. My heart rate returns ...

... in my one piece suit.
Quinn arrives this evening and the Rosswald family reunion is complete. Dinner is @ Bilafia, where they serve platters of lamb, chicken or beef, all done on an outdoor oven. Yum. But poor Taryn is eating tomatoes and cheese. This is not a restaurant for vegetarians for sure.
Taryn has arranged that we can get into Pacha tonight. It is a club ...
