Merhaba - sınce we last spoke, Barb and I have travelled through the dry beauty of Cappadocıa and Konya, through to the sultry Medıteranean cıty of Antalya - ıts been a wonderful journey and we're havıng a great, albeıt tırıng tıme. Today has been a free day, whıch has been much apprecıated ;)

I have just got back from spending two weeks at this hotel, and me and my girlfriend had an amazing time! ... Athleten und Grazien. Ein paar tolle Stücke sind dabei, eine dynamische Nike, ein prachtvoller Hermes-Kopf, ein paar sexy Jünglinge. Im Hof stehen Sarkophage und andere Fundstücke aus der umliegenden, heute fast zur Hälfte überbauten alten Hafenstadt. Ein langer Spaziergang durch die Trümmerfelder und die ganz mit Läden und Restaurants gesäumten Strassen am Hafen schließen den Tag ab.

The first official day of the conference was really fun. We have talks from 9-12 am and 4-7 pm, with a half hour coffee break to chat during each, so there is really only 5 hours of official chemistry every day. What a wonderful little peninsula on the Mediterranean. This town has it all. Lots of restaurants, bars, and shops, but also beaches and lots of ruins. Our room at the Hotel Lale Park was a little small, but we had a great time here.

Their response to this challenge has been to become actively engaged in helping to set up 3 special needs schools in the Anatolia region. They are also, through their travel agency which arranges tours for tourists, working on a program to provide special needs children with travel tours- not make any money doing it. Well first time at Club Med.. great location; fab room, very luxurious... the whole happy campers atmosphere though.... not really me... but i recommend the med coast of turkey... 300 days of sun per year... and you can windsurf; sail; go horse riding in the mountains; waterski; parasail,etc...

... and postcards and other junk. I was amused to see low-end bellydance outfits, but no, I didn't buy any of them. After that stop, went further up the river valley. Ants and I chose the under the stars option and it was another relaxing evening playing with the puppies(tree house owners 4 fluffy wee things) and a couple of quiets after a scramble up the gorge. Yesterday was a drive day with only a short stop for lunch and a shop in Kos. We in Olympos now some more ruins and a relaxing day at the beach. Gotta fly so more latter Cy and Ants
