Boulevard Playa El Agua Playa el Agua, Margarita Island, Coastal Islands, Venezuela, 582954155719-

... I saw all those towels laid out on the sunbeds in the morning…
The hotel I am staying in here is right by the beach and is called “Hotel Miramar Village”. Despite the fact that from the name it sounds like somewhere you might find in Benidorm, it is actually very nice. There are lots of hotels up the same road getting progressively further from the beach, but I thought it was worth the extra £1 per night to stay here ...
... albeit an experience. We bought the pemier substandard tickets (I do not know either!) although not taking full advantage of the "Pemier" style up the stairs behind the Canteen on the lower decks!!! (see why we were fooled) Look at the pic. It was not too bad but daunting nonetheless. As for Margarita I did not stay long, wanting to get to Salto Angel ...
El Yaque, Venezuela jhoekstra79... t seem like the express ferry at all !?!) but we made it to the island eventually! The area is nice, though you need to get out of the city to actually enjoy the landscape. Today, we took a small bus to the other side of the island, in a place called Playa Parguito, next to playa de Agua. Really nice place, with white sand, cool waves and little stands to buy food and drinks on the beach. This is what I call vacation!!! ;-)
Porlamar, Venezuela frenchies... to prove that I have learnt something.: Muchas gracias por su grande hospitalidad!!! On Tuesday and Thursday we went to the beach after school. Playa Parquita was a logvely beach apart from the amount of people (August is Venezuelan holiday time). Playa El Yaque is the windsurfing capital and had dirty-looking water, even more peole. In search if shade we (us plus Hannah and Andrew from our ...
Playa El Angel, Isla Marguerita, Venezuela kingsandems... stance on Colombia´s armed conflict as serving terrorism. Only pro-government, anti-guerrilla NGOs are being left untouched! Is this what they call enhancing security and democracy? So while the media are publicly criticizing Chavez for pushing for FARC to be recognized as a "belligerent force" rather than a "terrorist" organization, they should really look into the real motives and consequences behind labeling the FARC a terrorist machine ...
Porlamar, Venezuela sheenasumaria... but when it feels threatened, it "puffs" out, turning into a ball, literally, with hundreds of spikes!
Venezuela is super cheap if you change dollars in the black market. One day I made a pathetic intent to spend money, since I had way too many Bolivars and you get next to nothing for them if you change it back. So I went to a pretty nice restaurant, ordered a chicken Cordon Bleu and two Cuba Libre coctails, all in all around $6 USD.

... irettesatt.
Porlamar, Isla Margarita, Venezuela ole.dolven... my bank card and that's about it. The most difficulty I've ever had with money was in this country. There are lots of bank machines. The trick is finding one that is compatible with your bank. Most people did not have the trouble I did, but it is strongly recommended that you carry US funds. The black market was the first place I got cash in Venezuela as neither bank machine in the Porlamar airport worked for my card. Once I found Banco Provincial it was gravy though.
