We then strolled back towards home, passing through a Tango dance exhibition and resisting the urge to show-off with our skills (*cough cough* - they are pretty rusty and have been retired since 2005). What else can I say? A great day in an endearing little town. Next stop - Brussels.

... still pretty early, we could sleep in the next day (a day at sea), and it was “smoke-free night” at the casino, so we decided to make a donation. Surprisingly, my $10 bank turned into $20 on the penny slots. Karl lost his $10, so we broke even in the 30 minutes or so we spent in the casino.

... a live bomb. He thought nothing of it, and kept going. Then he pulled up a second one. At that moment he called in the police, who discovered that his field was littered with live bombs from WWI. The town has a distress call for when mustard gas is hit, telling citizens to get to the second story. We also heard about a construction crew that lost 7 people when they hit a live bomb while excavating.

So up at 5:30 out the door at 6:30 am. The bus stop was a 15 minutes walk from our hotel by the time we got there lots of people a full double decker luxury bus was full. It was a four hour bus drive we did stopped half way there which we could grab a coffee and breakfast we did sleep on the bus. Did note that the speed limits on the highway is 130km and gas prices is €1.64 per liter which is $2.26 cdn Once we arrived at Bruges we did a hour walking tour ...

... lost in the back streets. Since our hostel was farther from town we got to see some very beautiful buildings and it was relatively empty of other people which I loved. I could have spent all day wandering around there.
We took a lot of scenic photos, saw a horse fountain and the center where all the nuns live. It was beautiful. We wandered into a couple chocolate shops and this one scarf store owned by the cutest old man. ...
