The area has a fantastic coastline and some beautiful unspoilt towns and beaches. This is nothing like the Costa Del Sol or Costa Blanca.

Although the days are still hot the night time temps are getting down to below 20C which makes sleeping more comfortable. The sea temperature is a lot colder here but a lot more refreshing when you need to cool ...

Day 28 Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis 14.5 miles

Yesterday we were looking at the guide books for the walk today and Elise read one writer who said, "The walk from Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis is one of the 'flattest' on the entire Camino Portuguese." I thought about that last night with great relief, I may have even dreamed about it. Although the walk would not be terribly long, the fact that it would be flat would be so nice. We began the walk out ...

With the likelihood of upsetting at least one of the readers of this blog(!) who was probably excited at the start of this paragraph I do declare that the Ukulele is rather a tuneless instrument!!

On Princess Cruises art auctions are common place. I’m very interested ...
