    ... They were built to survive amateurs.

    The problem was. Someone hadn't filtered the water in the fridge and ended up getting sick from it, so the following few days felt pretty ******. I ended up only going to the beach and the pool in the afternoons and sleeping through the insanity of everyone getting ready in the morning to go out and partake in activities that I felt to sick to bother with.

    On the bright side, I got better before we had to get on another plane.

    ... first one Ben saw early enough and slowed down pretty fast to cause no real damage. Then about 10 minutes later one jumped out of nowhere.     ... built ecological resort that is very Westernised with expensive, clean looking shops, paths & many restaurants & cafes - I quite liked it. Whilst waiting I got an ice-cream from this very colourful ice-cream shop. So many flavours, toppings & sauces to choose from & it was in a bowl so no need for a horrible cone!     Mad dogs, Englishmen...and I...go out in the midday sun! The weather has been a scorcher since I arrived and I overdid it a little on my first day, with an exploratory wander when birds and workmen alike were taking shelter in any available shade! I found my shade at a local oceanarium, which was a little naff but the tiny turtles were cute!
