Mountains, monkeys and panda's
... absolute jaw-dropper. We were expecting a small temple on the top but were treated to a huge golden Buddha and temple buildings. We were also expecting (as we were told) not to be able to see much due to the cloud but miraculously as we arrived we were treated to a short ten minute break in the clouds, which made the statue as well as the views above the clouds even more breathtaking. Sichuan is also famous for the opera which some say is better than its Beijing equivalent. We took at trip out with our hostel to be weirdly entertained for a couple of hours. Sukriti and I were in awe of the hand puppetry, I mean the shapes this dude was throwing up were incredible!
