England and Scotland, there are several large Georgian era estates in Ireland
as well. We decided to check one out on our way back to Dublin, our last sightseeing
in Ireland. Castletown House is located in County Kildare about 15 miles west
of Dublin and is the largest and most palatial Georgian estate in Ireland. For

It's quite different from American football though; the ball is round, they players don't wear helmets or pads, and I'm pretty sure they don't tackle each other either but I'm not sure... ... tour guide. His positive attitude and witty personality kept everyone engaged in the day. Seeing the thumbs that were built ages ago were really cool. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the day because I didn't want to pull my camera out in the rain. The evening was much more enjoyable. The whole group ate dinner and watched an Irish band and dance group perform. I hope to learn some of the Irish dancing ...

Today looks like rain again. We are leaving at 9:00 to pick up the car. Fintan will pick us up at the hotel and take us to the car rental place and then escort us out of ...
