... and the grace and finesse of Tiny, the elephant... And let's not mention the windage and aerodynamics of a large shipping-container...with the doors open...
Anyway, we found that after the chief-naviguesser searching all our camping-site books, and me checking my camping apps on the ipad, in our target Cremona, there were no camps, so I resorted to good old Google....

... Running low on chain oil, I may need to get some more.

We ate two huge chunks of juicy beef pavé with some rice and vegetables. What the auberge lacked in ambience, it made up for by the quality of its beef. According to our waiter, it's too early in the season for French tourists, apart from the retirees down on the med, who come to the mountains in June to escape the heat.

Another relatively easy day tomorrow, with just the Col de Vars to tackle en route to ...

... there doesn't seem to be much else on offer in the modern part of the city.

The restaurant 'Spirit' hosted a folk group that travels throughout France by tractor. We clearly picked the place to stay in Briançon that had a bit of life to it. The only disadvantage was that it was quite noisy in our room for all the French chat downstairs in the bar.

... look at elevation profiles I don't actually believe them, but we could have free wheeled for the first 20km of our ride today. We made the most of it.

... fashioned, but comfortable enough. Once checked in and showered we walked around the village to weigh up our evening meal options. There weren't many!
