Cedar Creek Condominiums Big Sky

Ennis, is a beautiful little town, its famous for  its trout fishing. The Madison river runs thru the town and the Ruby River is in the next valley. Brent fished the Ruby in the morning  and the Madison in the evening. Jo visited the nearby cowboy towns of Nevada City and Virginia city, these little towns are amazing, we hope to come back next year.

My dad and I (Darren) drove to Big Sky, Montana to go flyfishing for Dad's retirement trip (and also to give Kristi a much-needed break from me). We drove through Bozeman so I could drop off the Stroh's beer bounty for my friend Tom Starner who had graciously set us up with a room at the Summit at Big Sky Resort. Many thanks, Tom! Big Sky, Took a very rough and bumpy flight to Bozeman. Rented a little ****** foreign car (Suburu) that wouldnt stop buzzing and chiming at me. Next morning we woke up and drove down to BS in the snow. From what I could see Montana was exactly as I pictured it, Mountainous and wild. Friday 25th July We decided that we would stay one more night here. Although our tank of water was getting low, we had access to a spring which was right next to our RV. We knew, from talking to a Nat. Forest employee that it was safe to drink so we used that for drinking and cooking and also for pouring into the toilet for flushing! Thursday 24th July We woke to a beautiful clear blue sky and wonderful peace and quiet. After a shower and clean up we did some jobs on the RV.
