... with an amazing waterfall at the climactic point of the hike. The hike was not especially challenging, but we all felt the elevation (especially Maeve who did not seem especially excited to be hiking) by the end of the 3 mile hike.

... that the kids and I were comfortable on. Stayed there till lunch when we had to make the trip back to the cabin and that was even worse. At one point Mase and the kids had gone down a huge slope ahead of me and when I got to the crest I felt sick with anticipation. ... was very slow at times. I did get to witness road construction and line painting as cares backed up for a mile or more at least twice.

I did get to see some gurgling pits, lakes, geysers, etc. on one of our family vacations we went to Yellowstone and actually stayed at the big inn by Old Faithful. The inn was somewhat different than I remember but the cavernous lobby was still quite impressive. The other strange memory I have ...
