      ... so we would take turns everyday in groups of two. Food was good but the most memorable meal would have to be the pigs head. Yep a pigs head. I walked into the kitchen wondering what we would be having later for our tea so Jens told me to look in the oven........and there was literally two pigs heads laying there cooking. Was pretty surreal. I have to admit I was a bit taken back but in the end the pigs cheeks just tasted like pulled pork. Was so juicy and the skin ...

      ... walls, cliff trails or a seat at a sidewalk cafe.
      From the early Florida days, taking our (then) little Rita & Paul to visit Nana & Grandad to our 'empty nest' travels of the last few years there's not a minute I would change.
      The world is amazing, there is so much to see and always new places to visit. We have loved so many places we've been too, but it's hard to justify going back, with so many that we haven't yet explored!

      ... than their Italian counterparts. The Jeronimos Monastery in Belem Lisbon was massive and of religious sites that I've seen only the Vatican can trump it on scale. Whereas the Convent in Monchique was populated by chickens!
      Castles sit on top the highest hills in many populated areas, seemingly there to guard their lands once again from raiders.
      Sintra's Pena Palace and for us the Moorish Castle were also matchless. The scale of the Moorish ruins were ...

      ... is HE going to do THAT again?

      Yes friends & neighbours, We are heading out today on another 'life' journey. To celebrate the year of our 20th wedding anniversary, my beautiful wife Donna & I are embarking on another big trip. Not as long as the last but further afield, we are off to sunny (we hope) Portugal!
