... previous week. I guess it's good to know they have my safety in mind, but I had told them I was traveling.

I met two Belgians and an Argentinian. The four of us had caipirinhas in the hostel, then they headed out. Next day I went with Hernan (Argentinian) to meet his friend, Enzo, who lives there. We had the greatest adventure, first trying to meet up in the right spot, then having Fernet and coke on the beach (Italian ...

The next day we set off to Lagoa as we where changing hostels. When we got there the weather was quite nice so we decided to head to the south ...

... out to be a frog´s mating call!) I am now realizing the hostel is always wear the fun begins, through talking to people you start to build an agenda of activities for your locale, not to mention contacts for the future. We met four Brazilian guys from Sao Paulo who were vacationing in our hostel and went to a few bars with them. Meeting these guys was probably the best thing that could have happened to us. They were really friendly and a great laugh, their English was ...

... island that we just chilled at all day. It's a reserve so if you wanted to do any of the little treks you had to hire a guide. We were quite happy chilling on the beach although we did get sucked in to hiring a snorkel and mask and having a look round. Unfortunately we only saw about 10 fish. At night we went back to Arante's for a seafood dinner which was amazing.

We enjoyed our time in Florianopolis but it was time to move on which consisted of a 14hour bus trip to ...
