Penguins and No whales
... when we are there for 2 weeks based on the weather report we just read. Bye bye sun tans!
We have yet to see the family of whales that frequent Florianópolis but I am sure they will turn up!
The Penguins like to show off just by the river side and today there were 3 penguins in the sea right near the beach which looked like they were surfing. They were quite small, but still very cute.

Fantastic Floripa
The night before we headed to Floripa we went over to Wills place for a bbq and a few drinks. Apparently there was all intention to leave at about 2am so we could get down to Floripa about lunchtime instead mid to late afternoon. To me I didn't mind either way, but I knew that we wouldn’t be leaving at 2am especially knowing how much the boys love a drink.

I am here to say that I survived one month in Brasil, today.
First off, I just want to thank everybody that commented on that last blog post. I thought the different viewpoints were just absolutely fantastic. I really think it's beautiful to see all the facets of the diamond that is humanity. And to top that, you were super respectful. Coolest beans.

Our trip so far continues to be a gourmet experience and Brazil has not let us down so far, acai, pastel, esfiha and coxinhas!! Long may this continue, although I had anticipated I would be getting leaner and not a little more.......lets not beat around the bush tubby!! And Rio is only three weeks away!!!
