On a last minute whim we decided to head to some Brazilian beaches for our last ten days in Brazil, instead of trekking all the way north to the countryside. We headed south to a place called Florianopolis which is a small town, with an excellent name, on the edge of Santa Catalana island. Santa Catalana island is gorgeous. I found a hostel that seemed to be in the middle of it all and we caught our coach, which was a thirteen hour semi-cama ride from Foz do Iguazu to Florianopolis. ... the air and Junior gets totally soaked as he was at the front on the boat. We were all laughing after a short scream. Once the rubber ducky makes it out to the boat it was a half hour trip back to the main land which was quite bumpy. I didn't have any seasick tablets for the first time but thankfully didn't get sick woo hoo.
