... person staying at the hostel. This is off-season but still. Apparently it is heaving in peak time. The day I arrived, I just went for a stroll along Praia Mole and up the hill for a good view of the lake on the other side. It was a bit dull and cloudy, OK for a stroll but not great beach weather.
The next day started quite brightly. I took a bus to Lagoa de Conceicao, hoping to hire a moped to see more of the island. I didn't find ...

... with seafood all we wanted were sandwiches or wraps.

Once we reached the town we found a nice cafe deli style and ordered hamburgers. They were nice just what we wanted. Elisha needed to find a white dress because the party tonight was a white party. So she shopped around for the dress while I tried to get money out, i didn't have any luck to start with. At one of the shops Elisha was on I asked the guy if there were more banks. He told us where ...

... a lot of what was going on. The sun did come out for an hour or two and there was a fantastic sun set over the beach.

The weather got much worse the following day and the forecast was the same for the week. With the exception of Ilha Grande (another beach!) we had avoided the rain for the whole 5 months so I suppose I was due some rain. The problem was that apart from the beach there was nothing to do! ...
