First stop of the north Americas
29th Apr. cont.
Seven hours later we arrived into LAX airport (tried to exchange our COP but the rate and commission were so bad we've still got it!) and were soon through immigration and customs and caught a shuttle into downtown. After a few circuits around the airport just to make sure that there were no more fares, we headed into town …
Back on the bus
Today we were up early and we caught the buses over to the Stratosphere where we were getting the bus back to LA. The bus trip back was good enough and I chatted with a dude for a while who grew up in London before moving to California 15 years ago. He said he hasn't worked for a few years and just drifts around visiting friends and going walking …
People watching at Venice Beach
Yo, this morning I managed to drag Laura outside into the fresh air so we could go exploring. She was feeling better after her cold that she had over the weekend, so we headed out into the big city and jumped on a bus that took us west towards the beach. Superbowl Sunday

This morning I headed out to the shops to buy a few more supplies ready for our afternoon in front of the TV. It was Superbowl Sunday and we decided that we should spend it as every other American would be, sat in front of the …
Sick Day
Today was a sick day, LJ was suffering from the flu that she picked up while in San Fran but on top of that the weather was pretty rubbish. So would have been pointless to do the things we wanted to do anyway. What we have left to do while in LA is visit the Griffith Observatory and hit a couple of the beaches so we kind of need some sunshine for …

TravelPod Member ReviewsCecil Hotel Los Angeles
