... We then called by Lance and Delores, our neighbours in Le Grande Rue, and they too weren't about, presumably still in the UK because of the weather, or perhaps they don't make the migration to the snow until after Christmas. Car unpacked and sold.....26,000km and eight months of loyal service! Now all we have to do is cull all this stuff we have accumulated. We're hoping to find a charity shop in Annecy that will take it all......shoes & clothes, chiller bag, thermos flask, pillows etc etc. The good thing about having a car ...

... to a small village called Talloires for a few nights, from here you get a more intimate and secluded perspective of the surrounding nature. The view from a nearby lookout is incredible.
We were blessed with sunny weather for the whole time. We were celebrating our 3rd year anniversary and as a very generous gift, Anna had given me the experience of my first Paragliding adventure, and what a place to do it!
I was quite nervous as I think I'm slowly becoming more afraid ...
