    ... then, the image, is considered miraculous and is worshiped as a representation of the son of god himself. Adorned with gold and precious stones, the image rests, with all the visitors waving to the son of god...

    And hence comes an end to our short trip... we again managed to grab some Lechon, just outside the departure terminal of the Cebu airport, to ensure our senses remember the flavour of Cebu for a few days more...

    ... I leave. He's a nice guy, but obviously has a thing for me which makes me feel uncomfortable. It's not his sexual orientation that fazes me but rather that his I find a place to eat and later return to the hotel. I plan to sneak in so John doesn't see me. But he does see me, doing the reeling motion again. I smile and gesture to my room and point to the the bag I have with me. Yep, just gonna drop this off and I'll be right back. Nope, stayed in the room. Watched ...

    We have been told that when traveling by boat to and from the islands in the Philippines, it is always best to try for the earlier boat as later in the day the waters get more choppy and there is more of a tendency to cancel trips. I think the trips get cancelled on a whim. But, nevertheless, based on this advice we decided to try for the 5:30 a.m. ferry to Danao. The receptionist at the hotel assured us she had arranged for a "wake up knock" ...

    ... baggage after weight issues and re weighing all of out bags at least 3 times. Then our connecting flight was delayed by 4hrs. Awesome.... Finally got Cebu and got taken straight to dinner where 22 pastors and their families were waiting to eat with us......some amazing people there. Extremely friendly. Had some really nice food before heading back to the hotel. Must sleep early start ...
