... had two beers instead of one!!!

The children on the beach kept us amused. For whatever reason that we couldn't discern, there was a little gang of boys who came on the beach and hung around us all day. We asked them why they weren't in school, and they said that their teacher had to go to Bantayan city for the day. The following day, it was a different excuse. Nevertheless, these boys were highly entertaining and Leo for sure enjoyed watching ...

... This is also something I miss every now and then. The Philippine food is not very exciting... So during the day we were always surfing. With breaks for lunch and mango's. ... we were confronted with the National Highway, filled with people walking in all directions instead of the usual bustling vehicles. Power lines and poles lay across the road, intertwined with debris and trees. It was an unbelievable scene, the road and surrounding buildings were more foreign than familiar.

The first four hours were terrifying, a roller coaster like adrenaline rush, but the following hours opened our eyes to a world filled ...

... one of the workers who said the counter would open 2 hours before departure.

Also I noticed they were weighing all hand luggage before heading to passport control. Futhermore, before passport control you have to pay 550P ($14) departure tax.

I was quite shocked by this. At Cagayan de Oro I paid 30P, at Zamboanga it was 40P, and at Manilla they didnt even charge us. Now it ...
