Salzburg has been the most naturally beautiful place we have
been to so far. The Alps are beautiful and we got our first sighting of them on
the way from Munich to Salzburg (which was our first experience with a train
where only half the carriages go to the final stop, meaning a quick run to
another, very packed carriage to Salzburg).

With an early start from Munich, we boarded a train to Salzburg, Austria. Although it was drizzling, we were able to make the most of the day and explore this beautiful city. With the train station being a few miles from the heart of the city, we were able to stroll along the Salzach River and explore many of the local vendors along the river.
