This morning was our second day off, this time Rikki and Sif had their day off with us. We found that there wasn't really anything to do so the girls started making all kinds of different bread which was good because we have unlimited flour etc. Jessie made a peanut loaf (you probably guessed out of peanut butter), Sif made garlic bread and Rikki made some cinnamon buns, so quite the variety. This afternoon we took a trip to the local mall in downtown Santa Rosa because ...

... wowsers it was fantastic! There are apparently lots of charging stations all over as well as Tesla super charging stations at various points so you can drive across California and other places. Amazing.

Pity the shops were not open! We had a little more fog leaving Eureka. It it did not last long. Again we ...

We had one last claim in Yreka, all the way to the Oregon border and drove there after Burney Falls. From Yreka we needed to get to Petaluma. The plan was that we'd get to Petaluma by late afternoon, Clayton and Jen would join us with their kids and pizza.

First delay was at a rest stop where we stopped for lunch. We’d just pulled into the stop and 2 of the grandkids and I had gone into the RV to get lunch stuff. One was still in the truck waking up and Dale was nearby. ...

Okay, now that I have the travel blog figured out and I know how to send you a message about it, I am getting ready to plan the trip. Looking at the map, I will drive about 5 hours to the Bakersfield area and camp. I haven't decided if I will go Hwy 5 or 99. Then I will do the remaining ...
