... s pouring outside (and I mean pouring). We stand around for about 10 minutes and decide I’ll put my rainshields around my cameras. Get that done then venture out. Ahh, even though it’s pouring, the rain feels nice but then it just stops. Out comes the sun and if you though it was humid before......

We meet up with our tour group and find out that the undersea portion of our tour won’t be happening because the ...
George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands worldexplorer99... we had packed our lives into 3 suitcases, plus a set of golf clubs, but now we seem to have so much stuff! We have almost tripled the number of bags we will be taking back. That's not to mention all the items we have sold, donated and binned. Our greatest purchase and now our top seller, our old reliable car shall be sadly missed. We bought it with 32,000 kilometres on the clock and sold it on 92,000 ...
George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands longwayaround... is all brand new) . It took the Environmental Department FOREVER (longer than you'd, even expect on island time) to get out to inspect the pool, but when they finally did we got the last approval needed to begin to rent the villa (to be honest, I was really leery about renting it to people we did not know, but now it just seems like the best idea we had).

Why? Well, I think one of ...
North Side, Cayman Islands caymanease... Beach till 1pm. I then went to look round 3 gyms think I have found the one I'm going to join. Then it was off to George Town at 3pm for a look round the shops (tourist shops mainly) and I had a drink and the Breezes pub looking over the harbour. Then it was home for a shower and then back out at 6.30pm and I went to the Wharf for my evening meal treat! http://www.wharf.ky/html/information.ht ml check it out! Back home by 8.30pm.
George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands gill_prior... wore off during the trip and I continued to feel a bit nervous at round-a-bouts. Allison had been there for a full year so she was a wealth of information for us. She explained customs, cultural issues, governmental issues, and was very honest about pros and cons. From the first conversation about life in Cayman as an expat, I became aware that living there would be vastly different than spending a week there in a hotel with two pools and a diving center ...
George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands heather.ingrum... and talked about for many years to come. After our amazing magical mystery tour we could simply have sat back for the rest of the week and reminisced about the amazing day but we still had our trip to Cuba to look forward to. The following day we had an all inclusive Champaign brunch reservation where we met with two of Nick's colleagues Omeida who was Cuban and Vallerio who was the company's Cuban cigar buyer. We had a lovely lunch and got some great tips ...
Bodden Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands vine_hooligans... for his efforts. Our assurances of 'no problem, my cousin runs the marina, you'll be treated like VIPs in Havana...' translated into a few days of hassle, paying customs $60 and no thank you or appearance from any of the recipients. Wow, that was a really succinct version of the facts. We also had a load of personal things we thought we would give away, which took up most of the rest of our time! Fortunately we met a lovely couple on Kirin - Lou and Sharon. These ...
Havana, Cuba on-oncruising... was still daylight to be had. We came back to the condo. One of the big reasons Paul picked this condo is there is actually a reef located about 100 yards offshore. So we waded out about ¾ of the way and then snorkeled on the reef. Near the shoreline is a bunch of turtle grass, but a little farther out is a nice, shallow reef with lots of coral, sea fans, and a variety ...
Bodden Town, Cayman Islands drmom... and after we breezed through customs, we now find ourselves staring down the barrel of a an 8 hour wait for our connection to Santiago. We will be passing the time watching DVD's on our little traveling laptop, so it shouldn't be to bad with classics like Old School (anyone wanna streak through the airport with me?), and Napoleon Dynamite (have you taken that Boeing over any sweet jumps yet? I think you got about 30,000 feet of air ...
George Town, Cayman Islands markandali... you immediately grow accustomed to it and want to experience more.

The family was meeting up in the forward lounge to leave on our excursion, so I had to rush back to my room. Since the ship didn't dock, we had to take tenders to shore. Because we had already purchased our shore excursion, we were one of the first called to leave the ship. In less than 10 minutes, we were on a ...
