... it is very windy and very rough. Tender boats are needed here and if they say it is unsafe no one will be allowed to leave the ship. Unfortunately this proves to be the case. They allowed disembarking passengers off but those who were only visiting briefly had to stay on board. The upper decks were crowded and the wind fierce for the offshore photo shoots. There will be many upswept / wind tousled records of this moment ...

Our final day was spent wandering in the city. We walked on the ancient city wall and then bought a natural sponge from a fisherman. He assured us we wouldn't find a better quality sponge from anyone else! It was extremely windy that day - the harbor was wild with waves crashing over the Venetian wall. ... next part of this might be a little x-rated so beware! As we walked, in the dark, I kept trying to keep my undergarments up! They were loose and the dress I was wearing was loose and ... and ... I gave up. So, I did the Horas, until the offending garment fell to my ankles where I scooped it up. I realized I couldn't fit it in my change purse, so I yelled 'OPA' (silently of course) and threw the damn thing over a stone ...

... decided to take this time to rest with my first baklava - oh yeah!!!

From there we meandered through the streets and shops and slowly made our way back to our hotel to collapse for a few hours. Did I mention it was freaking hot!!!
