Sicily never fails to amaze with its ancient monuments. Segesta and Selinunte were a fascinating day trip. Both were built around 400 centuries BC, the earliest and most important Greek colonies in Sicily.

I knew it would be cold out on the water but I regretted not taking my jacket (only had a cardigan) and regretted wearing sandals instead of boots. I had expected a boat with a cabin as well as being able to get out on deck. Instead we got a twin-hull boat with no cabin but a canopy over the deck that the wind rushed through. ... have a choice of bus... The views walking along were awesome, and heightened the sense of adventure... Till i got to a crossroads and had no idea which way to go! Luckily I flagged down a car and was able to check with them.
