Mary still feeling quite under the weather so it was decided to do the same thing again…not that I went to the Torre Guinigi again but Mary did spend the day inside. She accomplished heaps though doing lots of ‘Italian’ language homework and on the websites for accommodation and things to do.

Giorno di Pioggia
We planned a big day of things to do to keep ourselves busy, and went to bed only to wake up to pouring RAIN! Great our whole day of activities was ruined! So we went back to bed, only to wake at 1pm to the front desk asking if the house keeper could clean our room. I cant believe how much sleep we're getting (just not on the right schedule yet)!
Our stomach's were growling so we headed off for this cute little cafe by the Duomo. They had a huge counter ...
Florence!!! Day 4 & 5
... haven't been used yet. This was a very full day so after shopping we headed back to the hotel for...that's right, the disco-nap. Sadly, I have no nighttime exploits to pass on from this night. We were completely exhausted so I went to a local watering hole with Filippo and G stayed in to make those "we're fine" calls back home. I got back to the hotel at a reasonable hour and called it a night.
Back to Milan tomorrow...

... that allowed for them to be photographed clearly without reflection problems (and lit just enough). Steve and the kids explored the rest of the museum and I met them out the front at closing time. They were making bets on me being dragged out of there by the guards but I came out voluntarily! :D
