We are now well and truly in the Alps and you can see snow on the mountain tops.
Lake Lucerne is on the right and is very beautiful, post card stuff.
We finally arrive at Engelberg and get our rooms and wow!!! A view of the Alps from our hotel room.

We booked into our hotel in Engelberg just after lunch. We received a very warm and friendly welcome which included them upgrading our accommodation from one family room to two rooms with an inter leading door and the very good advice of making our way up Mt Titlis immediately as the weather prediction for the next day was not looking good. Mt Titlis is 3020m high and has all year snow on the top. ...
... his pain, it is quite a moving monument. The kids were amazed at how big it was, it is carved in the rock face above a water pool in a very tranquil, tree lined area. We walked on the famous medieval Chapel Bridge adorned in beautiful flowers, tasted delicious food and explored the city. We will miss the beautiful panorama and tranquil surroundings and even our neighbouring cows with their bells ringing. ...

... like they were going to fall off and by about 3/4 of the way down I thought I was going to throw up from exhaustion but if I got the chance to go back on a good day I would do so in an instant.
I left the mountains barely able to move but incredibly happy with my time there, it was back to Olten to recover at Adriens place.
With my recovery now complete I can leave Switzerland, I will be flying to Copenhagen tomorrow and then heading onto Stockholm.
