    Gaudy Gaudi?

    ... He died before the church was finished off course, since they are still working on it today. Gaudi was struck down by a trolley in the street and succumbed to his injuries shortly after. What an amazing artistic architect and designer he was. I can't imagine everyone enjoyed his work however, is this why the word "gaudy" is used to describe unsightly design and fashion?

    ... the answer is - YES!!!! I got my Russian tourist visa! I'm going to Russia!! Only my biggest dream since I fell in love with Russian during my history studies at university. And it's finally coming true! So I'll be in Russia from 3 - 12 of June I think, with a Topdeck tour. I can't fricken wait.
