Tomorrow I hope to visit downtown as the traffic may be easier. Who knows?

As we depart the coastline of Long Beach, it reminds me of the years I spent working on a project for GTE there. I recall the mini-vacation I took with my wife and children to see the Queen Mary and the Spruce Goose.

... him up before 6am on a weekend and on his birthday no less. Then i had to ensure he would have breakfast, because Gary does not work well on a empty stomach. Then I had to get the dogs situated since we would be away all day, all of which required my getting up at 4:45am in to dress, walk & feed the dogs, cook up a couple of breakfast burritos and pack a breakfast basket to go. ... again. It has wamed up a bit so I got brave and put on my waders and walked the stream and fished my old holes. No luck! I did fall down and got wet so I returned to my rigs freezing. Remember the snow, it melts barely and becomes lake water! Today was pot luck for dinner. The Lange's used all the fish they caught and served us fish fry!!! It was delicious.
