... Andrew cranked the turns we got some drinks and enjoyed our deck for a few hours again! We had agreed to meet the couple from the Catermeran trip at the ropes course at 1:30. We got there a little late and they were even later. We didn't see them but we had a blast. There is one part where you walk the plank right off the ship and they take a picture of you. That was really fun! Really scary but fun. Not sure if Tamara would have done it! It was awesome. We had a ...

March 18 we went to Long Island for a couple days. We had to motor over as there was zero wind. Along the way we saw quite a few dolphins, a baby turtle as we exited Elizabeth harbour, and when we anchored at Calabash Bay we had a huge barracuda hang out for a while. We took the dinghy out and checked out some beaches, found some reefs, which were so easy to see with it being calm out. I didn't catch any fish along the way. Good thing we are not relying ...

What a surprise I'm up really early I just can't sleep in on this trip. I woke up several times in the night to our anchor alarm but fell back to sleep quickly. The anchor alarm is a very cool app for your IPhone you can set the point you dropped anchor and it will then calculate a radius around our boat if your boat goes past any of these points an alarm goes off, you do not want your anchor to come loose and drift away in the night. In ...

Good morning

Another wonderful sunrise, time to leave this fishing town for the peace and quiet of Conception Island. We have only 48 miles so not a long cruising day. Conception Island is an islet, it is 2,100 acres and uninhabited land. It is an important rookery for nesting seabirds and hatching site for green turtles. The Island is protected as a Bahamas National Land and Sea Park.

We ...

... the water is deep blue and bottomless you can see coral heads line the circumference of the hole for a ways down then you see nothing. Apparently if you dive down about 75 feet there are natural canals that off shoot the hole. It is a natural wonder how the hole stays a hole as the sand does not cave it in but just slowly trickles down along the walls amazing! After our swim drying off our guide went back to the jeep to open it up for us and he locked his keys in ...
