It's weird to think that I went back in time when flying to San Francisco and then went into the future with Manila. We completely surpassed October 30th as it never happened. The food was amazing that we got for dinner and breakfast, and I immediately cozied up in my blanket and slept off and on for about 7 hours as we got turbulent over the ocean. ... boogie board with a seal behind him. It was very cool.
After the beach we had a nice shower and some down time, then walked to the shops/restaurants and had a great meal on a patio overlooking the bay. We heard a funny sound and noticed a sea lion was begging for fish at the market down the street, then noticed a small island with about 20 seals on it. What a cool background for dinner. We then retreated back to our room for a nice sleep.

... Hotel and after a very welcomed shower, we headed off for a walk to find a telecommunications carrier. By not taking the direct route to the shops (of course) we had a bit of a tour by the Bay. We were surprised at seeing Alcatraz, it is just out there in the Bay. We also saw some, (lots) of homeless people. ... so he did not understand the request for winter gear. The Muir Commander responded you had to understand the weather of the bay. I know we both needed jackets even for the few minutes we were there.

We then went to Stimson beech and checked out their beach after having a wonderful lunch at the Sand Dollar Restaurant in this touristy little town. Peg had cioppino, and I had prawn linguine. Both delicious.

... Mariah. We will be on our journey as castaways for 5 days. Some of our more adventurous plans are to kayak at nightfall to the beautiful, electric blue bioluminescent bay, Laguna Grande, to take a ride on a catamaran and snorkel in the clear blue waters of a much smaller island off the coast of Puerto Rico, and to zipline on "The Beast!"
