... to South Calgary to the Chinook Centre, which to be fair was quite a nice mall. It was a case of standard protocol - we separate and then meet at regular intervals. She dashed off as if there was a race to be won, Victoria Secret must have taken a bit of a battering as she came out laden from there saying that she got fabulous deals and paid only about a third of what she would normally do in Europe.

That did get me thinking - and as she disappeared off ...

... for half of the group around Victoria Lake with Dominic, we asked everyone if they had seen a group of muzungas (the name that east Africans give to foreigners) who looked lost. Dominic (our driver) said we were muzunga tracking (as compared to gorilla tracking which is an expensive activity in Rwanda & Uganda).

... but that didn't work. They tried again, but that still didn't work. So no tv or movies for me. That being said, I shared Emily's tv and kinda watched/listened to he movie "The Box Trolls" For supper, I had the chicken option with cous cous. Emily had the pasta with meat sauce. ... s fridge is so full we managed to empty it a bit with all sorts of toppings. We went over to the lake for fireworks. The lake is now completely frozen over so we could go on it. The fireworks were awesome and it seemed more magical than usual to have the snow as a backdrop.

... alarm. That made it difficult to get back to sleep and get a good rest for the dinner theater tonight. We got to the airport by 7:15 AM for our flight at 10:35 AM. I don't mind arriving early as you never know what delays one might encounter. We arrived in Calgary at 1:00 PM fifteen minutes before the scheduled landing.
