... as from someone else's point of view it must have looked ridiculous, me, all holiday smiles, in the middle, (except my disdain for said attendant) and beside me two black ghosts. Got to Frankfurt, confirmed my taxi in India. I soooo wanted to sleep on the cots they had there (how civilized) but I thought I had better get to my gate despite having two and half hours to spare. Thank god I didn't nap. At security ...again... ...

I do not think this is very wise as the whole point of drinking before and after a donation is to hydrate and rehydrate. Caffiene being an anti-diuretic will cause your kidneys to release extra water, seems contrary to the aim of the donor lounge and refreshments offered.

All in all very similar experiences. Canada just separates the pre-screening into smaller stages where ...

... What does that mean?" asked AJ, "he took his work bag but not his back-pack."

Before they could wonder for too long, the Daddy came back, this time without his work bag. AJ and BJ looked at each other uncomprehendingly as the Daddy picked up one of the chairs and was gone back out the door.

"What about that? Why did he take a chair?" they wondered together.

Not sure what else to do they got themselves comfortable in the back-pack and waited ...

... and I quite clearly said "Maree". I purposely said it quite clearly because I assumed that I'd need to. When it came time to pick up the coffees, the girl said some two syllable name beginning with m. We said "Maree?", and looked at what was written on the side of the cup. It was "Murray". Yes, Murray - sigh. So just call me Murray from now on!
