... for all men, women & children. Freedom Hall is a collection of his historical works and achievements. Also the work which his wife Coretta, took over after his death. It was so very interesting and all that I hoped it would be. I have long had an interest in this man and his life. It was great. I then made a trip to the Aquarium. I spent the next 2 hours with the fishes. The Aquarium was full of school children having a ...

... t think the Americans eat at home, they just go to pubs and restaurants all the time! Left there and decided to catch the underground to a Mall that I heard was quite good shopping. We barely made our connection in Denver but arrived home on time only to wait almost 45 minutes for our ...

... I had draught Harp Lager no less, not the busiest of places but it had a few groups in their that came and went. After an hour or so we end up back at Ellis Square, live music and a pedestrianised area full of people, bars and shops. We have a couple more drinks watching everyone walk by before tiredness sets and we are both ready for bed. Think quick 150 yards back to the hotel and its soon to bed. I'll try and get a photo of each hotel to show where we ...

Atlanta is a relatively young city or at least it's relatively new as a large city, so quite a lot of its place in history was in the post-WWII era and much even during my lifetime. Saturday was my Democrats day in Atlanta, visiting both the Jimmy Carter Presidential Center and the Martin Luther King National Historic Site plus a few other sites that don’t go very far back in time.

The MLK site is interesting, but I didn’t manage to ...
